goldstar corporate travel insurance

For Ugandan businesses, safeguarding their global ventures with a robust business travel insurance policy is critical to mitigate risks and ensure safe and uninterrupted business operations.

With regards to corporate travel, ensuring the well-being of employees and the continuity of the business in the face of unexpected events is vitally important.

What Is Corporate Travel Insurance?

Corporate travel insurance is a specialised policy designed to protect businesses against financial and operational disruptions arising from incidents that can occur during employee travel.

It encompasses a wide range of coverage tailored for the unique travel needs and risks faced by corporate entities.

The distinguishing feature of corporate travel insurance is its focus on the specific needs of companies and the frequent travel undertaken by their staff.

Unlike personal travel insurance, company travel insurance for employees is structured to cover multiple employees on various trips, addressing not just medical and logistical support but also business-focused contingencies such as loss of important documents, and more.

What Does Corporate Travel Insurance Cover?

A crucial step in securing the best corporate travel insurance for employees is understanding the breadth of coverage options and ensuring that the selected plan aligns with the needs of your organisation.

At Goldstar Insurance, we understand that travel doesn’t always go as planned; flights may be cancelled, luggage lost, or unexpected injuries may occur.

That’s why we’ve designed our Corporate Travel Insurance policy to go to work when you need it most, providing award-winning protection all year round.

Our corporate business travel insurance plans, flexible and tailored to suit your unique business needs, are available at highly competitive rates.

Using our Corporate Travel Insurance program, you can specify the number of travel days per year and simply share these among your employees, declaring the names when they travel.

Our Corporate Plan Basic is ideal for companies needing standard coverage for their employees.

It includes five key categories: Emergency Medical Assistance, Personal Assistance Services, Losses and Delays, Personal Accident Using Public Transport, and Civil Liability Benefits.

For businesses looking for a higher level of business travel insurance cover, our Corporate Plan Premium includes all the benefits of the Basic plan, but with much higher benefit limits and no excesses for certain benefits.

FAQ’s

You will need contents insurance, sometimes known as all risk cover, for items for which you require cover out with the home. Please provide details of these items at the time of quotation to ensure that the policy provided meets with your requirements.

Accidental Damage cover provides protection against costs incurred through damage that you, your family members or visitors may cause to the structure of your Building or to your Contents. Examples of incidents which would be covered under this extension include putting your foot through the loft floor damaging the ceiling below, leaving a tap running leading to water damage or carpet spillages. Such incidents would not be included under a policy taken out to cover Standard Perils only.

Additional charges will apply and in certain circumstances this cover might not be available.

Items kept in the garage or garden sheds will be covered under the Contents section of your policy provided you have included their value in the total sum insured declared. Limits may apply to the amount that can be claimed for theft of items taken from outbuildings and additional charges may be made for certain items such as ride on mowers. Cover for motor vehicles and motorcycles is excluded. Please declare your requirements for cover kept in outbuildings at the time of quotation to ensure that the policy provided meets with your requirements.

In most cases you will need to arrange cover for your own contents and personal possessions. Please refer to your tenancy agreement to check what, if any cover is provided by your landlord.

An excess is the amount a policyholder is required to pay towards the cost of any claim. You may be asked to pay this amount to a company that has carried out repairs on behalf of your insurer, or alternatively the sum will be deducted from any settlement received.
